Assists management with supervision of associates in assigned area of ​​responsibility by assigning duties to associates; communicate goals and feedback; train associates in processes and procedures; Provide direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure that member complaints and issues are resolved in accordance with company guidelines; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; supports the Open Door Policy; and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, training, and evaluating associates.

Communicates and supports authorized membership information on membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members; membership processing, upgrades and credit accounts; encourage membership renewal; participation in sales and marketing events; complete and maintain marketing summaries and other required documentation; strive to meet membership goals; and promote the value of Sam’s Club products and services.

Provides and ensures service to members by acknowledging the member and identifying the member’s needs; help members with purchasing decisions; location of merchandise; provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology; help members use the transaction registers or the self-checkout area; and ensure that club pickup orders are fulfilled.

Supervises the area of ​​responsibility granted for the handling of claims and returns; area zoning; preparation and organization of merchandise; identification of shrinkage and damage; organize and maintain availability of flatbed cars/trucks; assist members with transportation of items; use cart recovery equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures; and maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot.

Completes records, files, transactions, and other required documentation following accounting office procedures; provide funds for the proper functioning of the registry; create and interpret financial analysis reports; assist with accounting-related investigations; preparation of daily deposits; preparation and supervision of transfers of funds in cash; investigate excesses and shortages in cash register drawers and accounting office; and maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information.

Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs through collaboration with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyze and apply information from multiple sources; monitor progress and results; and identify and address opportunities for improvement.

Demonstrates, promotes and supports compliance with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding and demonstrating how to apply them in the execution of business processes and practices; implement related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management in correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.

Lead and participate in teams using and sharing resources, information and tools; determine customer needs and business needs; coordinate and execute work assignments; provide advice, feedback and support to ensure deadlines and quality of work are met; and model and help others adapt to change or new challenges.

Minimum qualifications
6 months of retail sales experience, including operating front-end equipment (eg, cash register) AND 6 months of customer service experience
