Tests/inspects molded components for acceptability and/or function. Complete mold quality inspections. Works with molding personnel to detect and contain problems. The position will also work closely with QA shift leaders on quality event documentation. Provides quality-related support to projects.

Vacant Position:

  • QA Molding Inspector Utility – RN (Onsite)



  • Perform testing, product testing, and visual inspection of molded components, identifying molding defects and nonconformities.


  • You must take advantage of and understand molding inspection standards and procedures. Periodically monitor product to verify quality is acceptable per latest product specifications/procedures.


  • Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/test data and maintains an easily retrievable file system.


  • Help with studies and validations.


  • Performs device, procedure, and product history audits as directed by Quality Management.


  • Monitor product and/or process trends at the discretion of QA Management.


  • Help with root cause analysis activities.


  • Reads and interprets test drawings to determine sample size and/or pass/fail criteria.


  • Issue product retentions and pallet identification tickets.


  • Compliance with all safety and environmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.


  • Performs special tests and product tests, as required.


  • Collects product/process data for FWO, special projects, validations, etc., as needed.


  • Complete other duties assigned by QA Management.




  • Comply with all federal, state, and local BD security standards, policies, and procedures, as well as BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through the consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.


  • Performs other job-related tasks.


  • Comply with all safety, environmental and quality system standards.
